At the age of 32, divorced and alone, I suddenly found myself in a deep depression. Never having experienced this before, I didn't know how to cope. Seeing my car keys, I was going to drive off a cliff. The next morning I awoke and was scared by what I had felt. At that point I begged God for something to change.

One day very soon after, I began receiving what I knew to be channeled information through an energy source outside of myself. I asked if this energy had a name. Adonys came to me. For two years I wrote many books and developed a deep relationship with this writing. I was into this story. Very unique and intriguing. I was along for the ride and wondering about my own past lives, if there are such a thing. Then we got near the end.
The trip lead to nothing ---a big disappointment. So much for the messages. What happened to Adonys? Never heard fro him at the end to confirm that Matt was indeed Jim. No input from Matt so we don't know if he had any recollections of being Jim. Let down after let down. Lack of confirmation makes the story unbelievable.
A wild ride to nowhere.

This book was so moving and passionate. I definitely see this becoming a series, because I found myself wanting to know more and read more. It was also something out of a Dr. Brian Weiss therapy session. Did she really have a past life regression right there on Monterry Bay? The whole book seemed so other worldly. Yet it was a real and raw. She really shared from her life and her emotions. I enjoyed her writing style and the imagery she created. You got the feeling you were right there with her, experiencing it all. I look forward to reading more books from April. I am curious if she had other similar experiences that led her in other areas of her life. I would love to hear more of her story with Matt and the red headed stepchild.

Filled with so much faith in life and the process, Looking for Jim has the ability to even bring about shifts in non-believers. I was strongly drawn by the rich and vivid imagery. April Larkin skillfully follows up the imagery with how she relates to it with feeling, trust and curiosity. I pretty much felt like I was right there next to her, experiencing all of it. The language is highly engaging and exposes one to practices like channeling, dream interpretation, past life regression, angels and so much more! The story is a Pandora's Box of surprises.
Sweet, full of exploring the unknown, passionate and timeless, this book is here to stay and leave a mark on you.
This book is awesome! It will have you wondering and begging for what’s next. When you read a novel, you always kind of have an idea of what is going to happen; on this book I was wrong every time and also I was intrigued until the end which is why I finished the book in one sitting.
This book made me wish to be there and experience what Patty did. I wanted to be part of April’s journey. Well, reading the book, she made me feel like I did.
April also said something that it stayed in my mind. She says – and I think this is very important- that in order to attract the kind of person you want in your life, you need to strengthen your own character first. Well said.
