Interesting read about Russia and the Putin Govt. USA govt is obviously so indebted to the military industrial complex it can't help but support their tyrannical interests.
It’s an amazing book. When you think about what may be in our future and out families future, it makes you wonder, what’s next.
Interesting counter-perspective. Putin is easy to vilify. We tend to see everything through the lens of our own global interests, and our conviction that we "won" the Cold War predisposes us to throw our weight around. It would have been better had we adopted a more egalitarian, less triumphalist stance after the collapse of the Soviet Union. The imposition of democracy isn't always the right move. I bought this book because it was fairly inexpensive and I was pleasantly surprised by it. The author acknowledges that Putin has made mistakes, but some have been "forced errors." What happened in Georgia, the Crimea, and eastern Ukraine were reactionary measures to Western hegemonization, OR THE PERCEPTION OF SUCH. We can't always assume that other nations view our movements in the same virtuous light we view them. I give this book 5 stars because it offers an argument that badly needs to be heard--try looking at things from the other guy's perspective.
This book is Russia propaganda
The controversies concerning Russia currently discussed by politicians and pundits are unfortunately colored by the results of the presidential election and the negativity towards President-elect Trump. This short book gives a voice to those who think Russia could be a valuable ally to the US in contradiction to the old cold war crowd like Senators McCain and Graham, and the many Donald Trump haters who are against anything he proposes. The author makes many excellent points that show how a cooperative relationship could be beneficial for our nation and the world.
This book is great wake-up call tool for us to know the truth between the US-Russia relationship. This book wakes our minds and helps prevent future tragic wars. This is designed for all people in all different life status to quickly and easily understand. This book will do something our government-media complex rarely does analyze and describe Russia's side of the story. This is a great revelation that anyone should know and understand. I am hoping that this book will also help other people understand the hidden information of this two super power nations.
This book enlightens its readers to necessary information which allows us to understand the importance of developing a peaceful relationship with Russia. It helps us see how greed infiltrates this process. Thank you Jordan Atkins for writing this book and hopefully reaching enough people with some truths which could save us all and our children. This is a must read. I'm going to read it again and plan on discussing it with every one possible. We can only pray that enough people have the awareness necessary to keep us all afloat in the rough seas coming at us.
